Instead of SJ News webpage I get nothing but a cascade of fatal error. Backend same thing. Screenshots available for those interested. Very odd.

I downloaded & installed... but I am getting a blank page... do I have to purchase all the extensions listed to get the template to look like the demo site? Also, I can't find half of the extensions required.

Only the demo is good but in actual it is not working properly and most of the extension used in this are paid, then why put in free template category? Images are not displaying in article.

I agree with Blue... what is the point in listing it as a free template when you need to purchase about 14 extensions. And the search continues....

this template kept in free has no meaning. Better to keep price and include all modules and components that are required. Playing this template I wasted 2 days but finally I found it is making joke keeping in free section.

The argument that "To complete the template look, we have to use a great number of extensions and cannot use free extensions only" is as deceiving as the title of the template for the following reasons:

1 - All extensions used were developed by Smartaddons.com

2 - They are only available if purchased or paid membership.

3 - Your website won't work unless you pay for it.

Conclusion: They have the right to charge for their extensions, but to advertise it here as a free template when in reality it's not, is very dishonest, and this is the kind of practice that tells me to never even consider doing business with them, even if they advertise something else truthfully.

Every damn thing that gets released under the GNU/GPL is NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER TO THE FIFTH POWER FREE. To get all the "good" features, you have to pay for them. Perhaps I should look for a different solution than Joomla, I had high hopes that it would be truly open source. I was wrong. People do not waste any more time with this, you'd have to fork out more than the cost it takes to host the site, especially if you are like me and manage your database and DNS servers at home. I know developers work hard but if you want money then go develop apps for iphone and android, leave the open source stuff as open source. It makes me sick, and it makes me even more sick to see Red Hat linux to be a subscription operating system! HOW OBSURD!!! What's next, do I have to pay a subscription to breathe air ? PATHETIC.

  Hi,
I read the whole thing and wonder:
What is the FULL price with everything in demo-site included?
and second: Where can I buy what is not free to get my site to work like the demo-site?

Steve, with all due respect, I suggest you read GNU/GPL before making such statements. Open source doesn't mean everything is free. I understand you probably have a reply to contradict this post, but I don't see much debate here, just facts, therefore, I won't waste further time to make a point for a moot argument.

Smartaddons, your advertising is deceiving because the template won't work without people having to pay for it. Just because the downloading of the template is free, it doesn't mean you are being honest, since it's understood by most reasonable people that a product, paid or free should work as advertised. If your advertising is not deceiving, why don't you publish the "Important Message" here? Shameful.
